Steelboys is a Dutch manufacturer of high-quality hydraulic scissor lift solutions. From our production facility in ’s-Heerenberg, the Netherlands, we design and manufacture car lifts, parking lifts, goods lifts and custom lifting solutions for a wide range of applications.
Our strength lies in designing and building lift systems based on robust scissor lift technology. We use this technology to move vehicles, goods, machinery and other loads safely and in a controlled way between different levels. Each lift is tailored to the building, the application, the required capacity and the technical requirements of the project.
Whether it concerns a car lift to a basement, a parking lift for a residential building, a goods lift in a commercial property or a project-specific lifting solution, Steelboys delivers custom solutions that are practical, technically sound and reliable in daily use.
Our production locations
Steelboys operates from two neighbouring production locations on Logistiekstraat in ’s-Heerenberg. Here, we organise the complete production process of our hydraulic scissor lift solutions: from steel processing and assembly to finishing, final assembly, quality control and preparation for transport.
This way of working allows us to maintain control over every phase of the process. Construction, finishing and installation preparation are closely aligned, enabling us to work efficiently and carefully monitor the quality of each lift.
Our in-house production is therefore an important part of what sets Steelboys apart: short communication lines, practical technical knowledge and custom lift solutions built with care.
From engineering to commissioning
Steelboys supports the process from the first technical design phase through to production and delivery of the lift installation. From the initial enquiry, we think along with you about dimensions, technical feasibility, safety and the practical execution on site. We then develop the lift solution further and manufacture the installation in-house.
As a manufacturer, we do not only supply a lift, but also the technical knowledge required to carry out the project properly. We look at aspects such as doors, fencing, safety provisions, controls, installation preparation and the connection to the structural situation.
Installation and commissioning are often carried out by our dealers or partners. If required, we can provide support. For example, for new dealers who want to build product knowledge, for more complex projects or when a dealer’s planning requires additional support. In such cases, our own specialists can assist or, by agreement, carry out the project on a turnkey basis.
This allows Steelboys to remain a practical and involved manufacturer: clear in preparation, strong in production and flexible in support when the project requires it.
Lift doors and integrated access solutions
For car lifts and goods lifts, doors, fencing and other access solutions often play an important role in the safe operation of the installation. Steelboys can think along from the design phase, ensuring that the lift, door position, control system and structural situation are properly coordinated.
Depending on the project, doors or protective enclosures can be included in our scope of supply. This may include sectional doors, lift doors, fencing or other safety provisions required for a clean and safe integration of the lift installation. We do this when the project requires it, when a dealer needs support or when it is technically advisable to coordinate these elements for the overall operation of the lift installation.
Proper coordination between the lift and the door prevents uncertainty during installation and use. The lift may only move when the door position is safe, and doors may only open when the lift is correctly positioned at floor level. By taking this connection into account at an early technical stage, the result is a more reliable system and a clearer execution on site.
Quality, safety and custom engineering
Every Steelboys lift is designed and built with attention to quality, reliability and safe use. Because every application is different, we tailor the design, safety provisions and documentation to the project and the intended use.
Our lift systems are supplied with the required CE documentation. For car lifts where the driver can remain inside the vehicle, we work with an EU type approval through Aboma. Within the conditions of this type approval, the lift can be configured for use where persons remain inside the vehicle during the lift movement.
What sets Steelboys apart is the combination of technical knowledge, in-house production and personal communication. We do not build standard catalogue solutions, but hydraulic lift solutions that fit the building, the load, the application and the way the installation is used on a daily basis.

Service and aftersales
Even after delivery or commissioning, Steelboys remains technically involved. A lift installation must not only be well designed and manufactured, but must also continue to function reliably in daily use.
Depending on the project, we support dealers, partners or customers with technical information, maintenance advice, service support and the supply of spare parts. Thanks to our in-house production and product knowledge, we can provide targeted support for questions regarding use, adjustment, maintenance, faults, modifications or extensions of the installation.
Service and maintenance are often carried out by the involved dealer or service partner. When additional support is required, Steelboys can think along or assist. This keeps the technical knowledge behind the lift available, even after the installation has been taken into use.
