Outdoor car lift for parking garage access

For this project in Switzerland, Steelboys realised a custom-made car lift with a hydraulic sliding gate. The lift installation is located completely outdoors, which made durability, weather resistance and corrosion protection important starting points.

To make the installation suitable for outdoor use, the entire lift was galvanized. The sliding gate is also galvanized and finished with a double-layer powder coating for extra protection against corrosion, wear and weather influences.

In addition, the installation is equipped with a hydraulic re-leveling system, external status displays and remote-control operation. This results in a robust custom-made solution in which the car lift, access, safety and control are properly coordinated.

    For this project, Steelboys supplied a hydraulic sliding gate together with the car lift. The hydraulic sliding gate lowers into the lift shaft, creating a clean and space-saving access solution.
